DESIGN
Garden elegance combined with beach toughness
The challenge was difficult; to be able to create a product that is durable under the worst working conditions (the crowded beach), and at the same time elegant, as only certain products designed for the garden can be. We have succeeded in developing:
EXCELLENT AESTHETICS
Obtained by generating geometries of the aluminum profiles that are rounded in shape and consistent among the various profiles that are scaled to each other in the case of the Leg, Backrest and Sun Brace. In addition, the generous sizing of the heights of the profiles,which boasts heights on the Floor and Backrest of as much as 50mm and a connecting crossbeam of Floor and Backrest of as much as 80mm, lends overall importance.
ZERO ROUGHNESS
Resulting from the presence of the rounded profiles, coupled with a geometry of the thermoplastic ends that are also rounded in order to avoid any unpleasant tactile experience or the possibility of injury to the user who, with his or her bare body, would be in contact with the Frame.

STURDINESS
Secured by the use of selected raw materials such as primary aluminum, stainless steel, and nylon, combined with generous sizing of the aluminum profiles that boast section heights of as much as 50mm for the Platform and Backrest and 42mm for the Leg. In such a configuration, the Grand Design Chassis can support the static weight of at least 200kg.
REPAIRABILITY
Total and self-executable thanks to the choice of assembling each component the Frame, via Repositionable Phantom Bolting that allows disassembly and reassembly over time whenever it is necessary to replace an accidentally damaged frame component. Fabrics can also be easily replaced thanks to FAST technology that enables their installation without the need for special machinery.
EASY CANVAS REPLACEMENT
Derived from the adoption of proprietary FAST (FAcile Sostituzione Tessuto) technology, which allows the Canvas Pianale to be tensioned without resorting to the machinery required on common Italian Style sunbeds. The innovation consists of splitting a section of the platform profile, allowing part of it to perform a rotation that results in the tensioning of the canvas.
HOW DOES DISASSEMBLY WORK?
The Movable Profile of the DX Deck opens in a "gull-wing" shape; in order to open it, one must: 1) exert pressure on it to release the tension generated by the installed fabric, 2) slip off the "C Profile" that locks the Movable Profile, 3) the Movable Profile can now be opened; the fabric will loosen and can be replaced.
HOW DOES THE ASSEMBLY WORK?
After inserting the new Flat Fabric into the relevant slots of the Frame, you lay the Moving Profile into its slot, rotate it to put tension on the fabric with the help of some clamps or a forceful helper, and once it is closed, insert the "C Profile" to lock it in place.

EASY CANVAS REPLACEMENT
Derived from the adoption of the proprietary FAST (FAcile Sostituzione Tessuto) technology, which allows the Parasole Canvas to be tensioned without resorting to the unsightly nail fasteners found on common Italian Style sunbeds. The innovation involves splitting the corner ends of the Sunshade, allowing one part of the Sunshade to make a rotation that results in the tensioning of the Canvas.
HOW DOES DISASSEMBLY WORK?
The Security Screw needs to be removed, then the corners are disengaged by inserting a flathead screwdriver into the slot of each corner under the fabric and forcing outward; at this point the two Canvas Holder Crossbars can rotate 90° and disengage from the Base Profiles, and the fabric can be easily slipped out of them.
HOW DOES THE ASSEMBLY WORK?
After inserting the new Sunshade Fabric into the relevant seats of the Canvas Holder crossbars, insert the two Crossbars vertically onto the relevant seats of the Base Profiles and rotate them 90° and lock each corner by remounting the Security Screw.
ANTI-LOOSENING BOLT
One of the most annoying problems on the classic beach lounger is the eventual loosening of the bolt that supports the entire Parasol Frame; in fact usually such bolts are "glued" with special braking adhesives that in the long run can give way and force continual re-tightening to keep the Parasol suspended overhanging. On the BE BED, a special patented solution has been devised that allows the bolt to be locked with the "counter-tightening" technique, which does not involve the use of adhesives and can be loosened and re-locked several times without any problems.
HOW DOES DISASSEMBLY WORK?
With a Torx40 wrench, practice unscrewing with the necessary force but not at speed to avoid seizing to which the stainless steel is predisposed.
HOW DOES THE ASSEMBLY WORK?
Tighten the Bolt complete with the corresponding "Washer Package," carefully to avoid the seizing to which the stainless steel is predisposed, and once the "end stop" of the M8 thread is reached, exert the necessary force to create the "counter-tightening" that will prevent accidental unscrewing of the bolt. The most suitable tool is a torque wrench calibrated to 40 newtons.

REPOSITIONABLE
Phantom Bolts also possesses the very important feature of being Repositionable. This feature allows any maintenance to the Grand Design Frame with ease. It will be sufficient to disassemble the bolt with a common tool, replace the part of the frame under maintenance, and reassemble the same bolt with ease. As opposed to common Italian Style beach loungers in which assemblies are made with rivets that in case of maintenance work on the frame, must be destroyed and replaced new with special hydraulic presses in use only by manufacturers.
PROFESSIONAL WELDS
The welding required to create the Legs, Back and Top is produced using noble gases and special magnesium wires, by means of a robotic plant that guarantees the perfect execution of each weld seam, and total product uniformity. The end result is summed up in excellent solidity and aesthetically perfect joints.
VISUAL AND TACTILE ELEGANCE
The Super Satin anodic treatment, carried out to a depth of 21 microns, gives the BE BED lounger a very sober and refined appearance both to the eye and to the touch, and at the same time allows its perfect preservation in brackish environments typical of beaches, and in general, in any outdoor setting.
CERTIFIED SAFETY
APPROVED FOR COMMUNITY USE
BE BED has obtained through the autonomous body CATAS, certification for community use, according to EN581-EN1728 standards. Although by examining the BE BED crib, it is very clear that there are no dangers with use, the certification confirms this by clearing up any doubts. It should also be noted that the certification excludes liability on the part of the lender to the User who accidentally injures himself by using the sunbed. It is therefore an additional guarantee on any claims for damages as a result of accidents with the BE BED sunbed, which in any case remain entirely unlikely.

INCREASED DIMENSIONS
The seat (part covered by the fabric) of the BE BED lounger is in "King Size" format i.e. about 67 cm, so a good 10 cm more than the common Italian style beach lounger which measures just 57 cm.
OPTIMIZED DIMENSIONS
Despite the increase in seat width, thanks to the volume optimization work of the entire product, the BE BED lounger remains as small in size and weight as possible, so as not to disrupt Operators' activities and work spaces. The end result allows BE BED to be contained to a weight increase of a few hundred grams and a width increase of no more than 15 mm compared to most common Italian Style beach loungers. SOFT-END
It is the new proprietary and patented technology, which consists of a shaped padding that is inserted above the aluminum crossbeam of the Flatbed, but underneath the Flatbed Fabric, so it is not protruding and not visible. Since it is made from a closed-cell foam, it does not absorb water and can remain outside for long periods.
CUDDLES AT YOUR FEET
Soft-End is the solution to the big problem of the foot resting on the rigid aluminum crossbeam of the common Italian Style type sunbed. BE BED is the only Italian Style sunbed that solves this major problem. The end result provides comfort to the foot, absolute design neutrality, water neutrality and long life.
TAVOLETTA: MINIMAL HEADREST
Tavoletta is the Entry Level headrest, that is, the one with the lowest image, smallest footprint and lowest cost. However, it retains the same quality of construction as every Fulcor headrest, thus made with PVC fabrics and integrally welded in High Frequency to ensure watertightness and total waterproofing. Despite its size, it offers appreciable comfort and its lack is noticeable. In most cases it is made in a color matched to that of the Sunshade and usually different to that of the Flatbed. ONDA: INTERMEDIATE SIZES
Onda is the Intermediate headrest by size. Its anatomical geometry promotes the relaxation of the skin of the neck and its even tanning. It is made from PVC fabrics and integrally welded in High Frequency to ensure watertightness and total impermeability. In most cases it is made in a color matched to that of the Sunshade and usually different to that of the Flatbed.

ONDA-XL: THE EXCELLENT CHOICE
Onda-XL is the Important headrest in size and image and is the preferred one in BE BED installations. Its anatomical geometry allows the skin of the neck to be relaxed and evenly tanned. Its size and clean design, give a significant increase in image, and the comfort offered, is preferred to other models. It proves particularly indispensable when the backrest is raised to the maximum in the reading position. In most cases it is made in a color matched to that of the Sunshade and usually different to that of the Floorboard. It represents the best balance between image, comfort and bulk. It is made with PVC fabrics and integrally High Frequency welded to ensure watertightness and total waterproofing.

DELPHINO: REMARKABLE
Delphino is the Exaggerated Headrest in size and image and is recommended only for indoor use; it can also be used outdoors but the durability will be considerably less. Its anatomical geometry promotes stretching of the skin of the neck and its even tanning. The appropriate choice when the scenic effect takes absolute importance. It is made from PVC fabrics and integrally welded in High Frequency to ensure watertightness and total impermeability. The Fabric used is a Heavyweight type and does not always coordinate with the color of the Sunshade.

FIXED INSTALLATION
Fixed installation is done by means of the tacks that secure the Flat Fabric on the Backrest Crossbeam. In this case, no adjustment will be possible and in case of disassembly, the tacks will have to be removed. This installation is recommended only in set-ups where the sunbeds remain in the working position at all times and are never stored during the season of use. It is the preferred solution in all cases where budgets are limited, or a quick and easy installation is desired.
MOBILE INSTALLATION
Mobile installation consists of joining the headrest to the crib using the special RAP Roller (Headrest Attachment Roller) by attaching it to the special Arrangements housed on the top of the BE BED backrest. The BE BED crib is always supplied with such Prearrangements to facilitate the possible installation at a later date, of the Mobile Headrest. This is the highest performance solution; the headrest can be renewed without necessarily renewing its structure as well (RAP Roller).
MOBILE IS BETTER
The Mobile installation allows for the adjustment of the headrest and its rapid attachment/release. In fact, the Roller allows, by rotating it, height adjustment to better suit users of different stature, and thanks to the RAP feature, rapid attachment/removal to the sunbed by means of the special key. This will facilitate the insertion of the headrest "on demand" or its removal even if only for storage. It also represents a 5 cm extension of the length of the backrest without altering the original dimensions of the sunbed.

It is the super-tested version, the most reliable version and most familiar to users, who are therefore familiar with its simple operation and use it with ease.

TWO SYSTEMS IN ONE
An important feature of the WireLess Angle Changer System, is the possibility of Downgrade to the Classic Angle Changer System at any time and in a few seconds, by removing the Bascula and Tongue components and applying the Lanyard, as well as Upgrade back to the WireLess Angle Changer, by reinserting them and removing the Lanyard. Thanks to this feature, we achieve the highest level of Customer satisfaction as it retains full freedom of choice on how to operate the movement of the Backrest, which remains one of the most delicate parts in the use of the beach lounger.
COMMON FEATURES
Both versions of the CambiAngolo System, include the features that determine its great reliability, and which are:
- the tip of the barbell, with the crib closed, remains aligned with the aluminum profiles to prevent accidental breakage in the event of a fall;
- There are no "side end stops" typical of the Classic crib, which are also prone to breakage;
- there are no counterweight metals inside it, which over time oxidize and burst the balance wheel;
- rocker arms are installed with repositionable bolts for easy replacement in case of damage;
- all components on the Classic System are ambidextrous to facilitate the unlikely replacement of a component. On the WireLess System, some components are not ambidextrous.
ROUND LINES AND SUPERIOR TOUCH FEELING
All thermoplastic components and the geometries of the aluminum profiles, were designed with the aim of offering in case of contact with the User's body, the most neutral impact possible. The result exceeded expectations: in fact, overall, we obtained such a good touch feeling that it generated satisfaction when touching the lounger itself. Such as, for example, the transition area from the fabric to the floor where special "seals" push the fabric in adherence to the aluminum profile generating a continuity of lines devoid of any "knottiness and roughness" ; or the end caps in the foot area that are rounded and perfectly matched to the geometries of the aluminum, so as to avert any possibility of scratching or injuring the lower limbs that often touch them; or again, the sunshade arms that are rounded and completely unbolted on the outer sides thus averting any possibility of "unhappy touching." Not to mention the supersaturated anodic treatment that with its "fine grain" is a pleasure to feel on the skin.

STANDARD LEG
The Basic set-up of BE BED includes the Standard Leg, that is, a pair of Reclining Legs, which, when opened, determine a seat surface height of about 40 cm. This is the most common configuration as it conforms to the height of the Classic Italian style loungers and is the most appropriate when the lounger is used on flooring such as pool edges, solariums or platforms.
HIGH LEG
Optionally BE BED can be set up with the High Leg. Originally created as an aid to the use of the Italian Style beach bed by disabled users, the High Leg is currently also highly appreciated by ordinary Users. In fact, the seat height increases from about 40 cm, to about 53 cm, and in this configuration sitting and rising from BE BED is easier even for people without disabilities. It is also often chosen for maximum scenic effect. In fact, the High Leg gives BE BED greater prominence, which combined with the King Size width, promotes the feeling of "sitting on a throne." The High Leg is particularly appreciated in uses on sand to limit the "sinking" effect.

Costs halved in maintenance
BE BED implements a series of patented technologies that allow significant reductions in maintenance costs and that allow it to become the most advantageous annual cost bed considering a period of at least 10 years of life. The costs of maintenance in the optimal conditions of BE BED, are much lower than any other type of sunbed, to compensate for any differences of first purchase. There are also other technologies that allow space savings in storage warehouses, and economic recoveries in case of rental.
WHY DO YOU SAVE MONEY?
On the common beach lounger, the replacement of the Pianale Fabric can be performed only by means of special machines designed for the assembly of the Pianale Canvas and therefore the sunbeds must be sent to the supplier organized for such activities. On the BE BED beach sunbed, the FAST System consists of a special configuration of the Pianale frame that by opening allows the tension of the fabric to be loosened for its disassembly, while by closing it allows the tensioning of the fabric after it has been reassembled. Such intervention does not require special machines and can therefore be carried out directly by the owner and on his premises.

Interventions can be carried out by in-house personnel, thus avoiding costly external interventions, and can be performed on site, thus saving the costly relocation to the supplier's maintenance shops, especially in all those geographical areas where, since there is no service provider, it would be unthinkable to purchase such products since no one could maintain them except from a great distance and at considerable cost.

With AntiFurbo, abusive use is combated, which takes cribs away from rental; therefore, savings are derived from not losing them. Lower environmental impact
One of the objectives of BE BED's design was the Circular Economy, whose philosophy requires that a product minimizes waste, is highly repairable, has little or no pollution, and is maximally recyclable at the end of its life. Each of these objectives has been achieved with new patented technologies that allow BE BED to have a lower environmental impact than the common Italian style beach bed and most of each type of alternative sunbed.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
At the time when on the BE BED the appearance of the Fabric is no longer acceptable as a result of use, it will be possible to carry out its "rotation" by installing it under-over. This possibility is determined by the Twin Life Reversible Fabrics that are installed on BE BED. After the first "working cycle," they can be recycled by reuse with the result of having halved the plastic waste that would have been produced.
WHAT IS SAVED?
It saves in waste production. The same will be produced only at the end of the second "work cycle" (average 6/8 years per cycle), as at the end of the first, the Fabric is reused upside down unlike with the common Italian style crib, on which the Fabric is thrown away as waste at the end of each "work cycle."
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Thanks to the FAST and PHANTOM BOLTS RESTORABLE technologies, maintenance can be carried out independently and on-site, so transporting the crib to the supplier is no longer necessary and consequently the related pollutant emissions to the environment are zeroed out.

Ecological savings are represented by the lower emission of pollutants, lower consumption of fossil resources, and over time savings from climate normalization may be considered.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Whenever the BE BED had a damaged or worn component, instead of throwing away the whole product, it will be possible to make an easy repair by ordering the replacement, with obvious money saving and a great environmental benefit.
WHAT IS SAVED?
The ease of maintenance due to FAST, TWIN LIFE and Repositionable Bolting technologies, combined with the total recyclability of the main metals used (aluminum and stainless steel), saves the Planet, significant reductions in terms of waste produced, resources consumed and harmful emissions.
QUALITY OF MATERIALS
The materials mainly used are Primary Aluminum extruded and anodized to 21 microns for the Frame, Stainless Steel for the Custom-made Hardware, High Density Nylon for the thermoplastics, PVC-coated Polyester Fabrics for the Seat, Sunshade and Headrests, and Expanded Resins for the padding. Each material meets the stringent toxicity regulations in force in Italy, so BE BED is free from any possible possibility of harming the User. Obviously BE BED allows extended life cycles in contexts other than the beach, to the point of being practically eternal in domestic settings. On the other hand, in environments with extremely high temperatures and multi-seasonal uses, it is likely to consider an intensification of maintenance interventions for the optimal preservation of the sunbed. At the end of its life, easy recycling of aluminum and stainless steel, as well as nylon and pvc, will be possible, minimizing environmental impact.
